I'd be happy to hand some out around town , stick a few up on notice boards and do a lazy stroll around town doing a letter box drop and Leave a few at local camping stores etc.
It all helps I guess.

After the EXPO we may have some maps with info on them that we are taking to the show. They could be alright for you. I'll let you know after the weekend.

Was out at kingower yesterday and came across this sign, never seen one before in my life.My first reply was very polite, then I said "so what"
There was no date on it it so it was difficult to ascertain how long it had been up,there was plenty of leaf litter across the track suggesting it had been graded a quite few days prior.
Needless to say I ignored the sign as I needed to get to the gully I wanted to go to.
Could I have been fined?? and might I add that a star picket in the middle of a track may pose a risk to some unsuspecting bike rider? [BOTH ENDS OF THE TRACK WERE BLOCKED WITH THESE SIGNS]

Moredeep.
This is a sign of things yet to come.
The sign says, "healthy parks" "healthy people"
What a joke!!!
If you are no longer allowed into a forest, then how can that be healthy people ???

I saw an article in Saturdays age newspaper by Danny katz [comedian].page 31 august 18 2018
He visited Castlemaine,he said and I quote "if you want to steep your senses in historical and cultural ambiance of the Victorian gold rush era then go to Castlemaine".
He also said that he strolled around the town centre, and saw the old goal and theatre royal and about a dozen antique stores and about a hundred cosy cafes.
Not once did he mention the bush or the gold diggings.
As I have said in previous posts,we the bush users,we are the ones interested in and love the bush,we are; along with the traditional owners, the custodians of the bush.
Tourist basically don't give a rats bottom about the bush ,as I've said to the politicians its a fallacy that thousand upon thousand of tourist visit the bush/gold diggings.

I also agree, but on the other hand and this is no offense to anyone who lives in Talbot, that on a cold old winters Saturday night in Talbot you won't really pull an big crowd to see a candidate??
Maybe that was the labors candidates plan??? just a thought.
Maybe an invitation to the candidate to attend a PMAV meeting, IT WOULD BE VERY INTERESTING TO SEE IF THEY TAKE UP THE INVITE!?

We have invited her to 4 of our 5 rallies. And she had an excuse every time. She has also been invited to sit in on a Q & A with a lot of other pollies at this years PMAV AGM in Beaufort where she lives (or near) and she has also declined that as well. When we had our big rally in Melb no one from Labor even came out to listen or speak. They were invited like all the party's were, including the Greens. But they were a "No Show". We have never had a Labor or Greens take up our offer at any of our meetings So what is that telling you.

Hi everyone. The first draft report of VEAC Central West Forest investigation was release today and it doesn't look good.Quick summary, a huge new National Park over the Wombat region, new NP in the Pyrenees, only area to retain reasonable amount of State Forest is Mt Cole and around Beaufort. New Regional Park and Nature Reserve at Wellsford. Download a copy at: http://www.veac.vic.gov.au/investigation/central-west-investigation.
With the first lot of submitted that I read on the VEAC web site showed that there were more people against any more park than there was for it. So how could they then come up with is recommendation for more parks "you ask". Easy most of them are greens on the board. That is why they are called Victorian Environmental Assessment Council. This is now going to be full on political issue. This will depend on who you vote for in the State Election if this will get through next March next year. But to try and stop these parks from happening we must kick out the Greens first.

If say 10,000 people marched through the "Park" with detectors or bikes, hiking gear and fishing gear, panning dishes etc all at once what exactly are they going to do, its time to take back what belongs to the people and not let a few take away everything a bit at a time.
Imagine if all the things that have been taken away in the last 30 or 40 years were all taken away at the very start like 30 or 40 years ago, all at once, there would have been another Eureka with blood on the streets.
They work on taking away little by little divide and conquer, a very effective method.

Uncle Bob why are you blaming the PMAV for ???? There is a lot more people and groups involved not just the PMAV. The whole country is involved. The PMAV is just a drop in the bucket in the bigger sceem of things. You want to do something to help "write to your local politician and then complain about Agenda 21. Start the ball rolling mate and don't wait for others to do all the work.

Re: * BUSH USER GROUPS UNITED * Come on one and all and support this Facebook Group of Bush Users concerned about pending changes **
"Divide & Conquer" Effective method indeed Dave, for it is through division of race/colour/creed, the ones in power/authority end up reigning supreme & unfortunately this has been the case from the beginning of time within every nation & I can honestly say, the politicians as well as the filthy rich, do a damn good job of it (especially when it comes to drawing attention away from them). But, lets not get drawn into a full blown political argument here, for as a working class people, we can only do what we can afford to do, without jeopardising each & everyone's own lively hoods.
Easy there Uncle Bob. The PMAV has not failed in its quest, for it has voiced its opinion, as well as marched in dismay towards the pending changes. Neither can the PMAV be compared to the likes of the combined unity of the United Nations powers. Failure comes through sitting back & doing absolutely nothing, something of which the PMAV has been active against from day one. Shame that it doesn't have a 100,000 more members for a greater impact towards the pending changes.
Cheers Kon.

The PMAV wasted it's time on the marches.
The failure is that the PMAV has been barking up the wrong tree. And Wombat, don't get me going with writing letters to the pollies.

Re: * BUSH USER GROUPS UNITED * Come on one and all and support this Facebook Group of Bush Users concerned about pending changes **
Writing letters to politicians is not going to get much done. A few disgruntled lone voices does not lose an election. As l have said before, the virtual total main media black out, on the Vic bush closures, was a big indicator, that it was just not the greens at work here. But both Labour and Liberals, with the greens as well. Because both major partys have signed on to the UN agenda 21 2030 agreements. Graham Williamson wrote to the Minister for environment Greg Hunt about the UNs control of the Australian legal system and our economic system and education system. That was in 2012,his correspondence with Greg Hunt is on the net to see. But Hunt denied it was any big deal. Agenda 21 and hardly ever got spoken about. The big problem is, the covert way we have been taken over by the UN, in Australia and when you bring it up as the base cause of the problems. You are told, you are a conspiracy theorist , a nut, piss off this has nothing to with it, etc or they just bar you. Councils have to pay fines, for not meeting the goals set by agenda21 on time. My criticism of the PMAV and the Bush user group is that they did not address the issue of the UN at all. They neither confirmed or denied their existence. Stop the Lockout is a group in NSW, fighting to keep their waters open for fishing. The government wants to make Marine reserves every where. They have 44,811 members. With so many members and Alan Jones and other radio hosts on side, I think they will have some clout. Join the dots here and you can see that they are chipping away at our freedoms. lt is a silent take over of our country and it is working very well for them.

As somebody who posted a submission the first time, i received an email from this bunch the other day, with links to what you (Wombat) have posted up. I did read some of it, but there`s around 200 pages to read, which frankly is a big chunk of my time, i did read that they want to reduce crown land by around 90% which is ridiculous, and of course ban prospecting in some of these area`s.
I really don`t know if we can win this battle, but they gave us the option to put in another submission, which i just did, and i hope that the rest of you will do the same, we have to show them strength, otherwise were done for.
