G'day All thanks again for all the great replies and well wishes. If you have jumped onto the 2 page go back to the first page as I just added more pics.... Yes you could be right Bedrock, the young bloke has been checking it out on Tengraph.... Yes sounds like a good plan there Colby, I carry 40lts of Diesel and 30lts ULP for the genny. I think I may need to fit a long range tank. Very Happy I get around 460 Kms when towing the van.

Cheers.

Mike & Jenny I'm glad you made it across OK and thanks for the fuel up dates. Will you be staying at Kalgoolie for a while? A high five to your son for his first find of the season. If I remember rightly this is how it started last year with your son finding the first one. Anyway guys good luck out there and you have the first find of many.

G'day all thanks for the replies and well wishes... Looks like we are not going anywhere for a couple of days as we had a big storm come through early this morning... Everything is wet as and I don't think we could get out to the main road which is a dirt road as well... We took a pic of the young blokes little specie so here it is... Weighed in at 1.2grams...

G'day Bill and Peter thanks for that... We are keeping a bit of an eye on the weather and at the moment we are getting the odd light shower with the sun coming out with the flies... Shocked yes the flies are pretty thick over here with a few tiny mozzies as well... Mad That's all part of the adventure I suppose... Laughing

Hi all,

I just landed in Leonora tonight after three days across from Melbourne. I got $1.97 a ltr at Madura road house.
But I would pay double that just to come and be out here!
Lovin' it!

I'm not sure what the temp in Leonora was today, but it would have been around 23-26 degrees.
Crystal clear sky, because I think even the clouds had the shits with the flies out here.
Though I think there's meant to be some storms coming later this week.

G'day all, another little update we ended up back in Kalgoorlie today so didn't have a swing. But we got some new areas to go and check out. So we will be busy tomorrow packing and relocating to the new area before the forth coming storms that are supposed to come over before the weekend. We have organised all the legal papers for our new areas. The weather here today was blue skies and reached a top temp of 26'c. There are still plenty of them pesky flies as well. Mad .
I would like to thank John Gladdis and Team at Coiltek Maryborough. Wink a BIG Q32 Guys.

Cheers.

G'day all we are just outside Kalgoorlie and have some good phone service. So I can post a couple of pics and yes it's yellow. My first WA gold for this year. My first one was a nice 16.67 grammer and a couple of smaller bits. Glad to hear Bridget is recovering Bill and thanks for all the great comments.
