I hope the rain does hold off for you JnG, but we are supposed to get 4 inches this week up here so Ballarat being Ballarat Suspect Hopefully you're not camped near there Laughing
I'm hoping that the rain does hold off later in the week cause that's my 3 days off.

Good luck

so how did you go julz? At least there will be plenty of water for panning, lol.
Thinking i might take myself to do just that on my next days off (gee, if i get days off)

Anyone else have to work xmas day through to new year??? Mad

GSGPX... after the new year perhaps with luck we get at least 1 day off the same to catch up for that swing!

Yeah I'm really thinking of panning, trying to think of the best part of the creeks to go to, any ideas?

GSGPX.... sms me when your in town and i'll see what im doing. But im doing nights starting xmas day and ending NY eve.

Julz... you would have some great creeks up your way. I cant wait to give them a go myself one day soon. I pan the far west of the triangle, so i dont know about your area. Its probably a case of 'pick a creek and pan', lol. Just remember to pan the inside bends, look for any sign that the water flow can slow down, such as rock bars/rocks, crevices and dig down to the bedrock or into the clay Smile
