Re: the GPX 6000
Directly compare side by side no I have not, but I have run the 6000 over ground I have flogged with all coils on the Z including the 10 and 17 CC. The 6000 picked up many scraps on al patches I have been over except for on a very bony patch, too many scraps at depth for there to be anything but only one conclusion, the 6000 kills the Z even with the X coils on deep scraps, I however have not recovered any pieces above sub-gram in those flogged patches suggesting to me at this stage, the Z/X combo has more or equal depth on larger pieces. I say at this stage as maybe there are no larger pieces at depth on those particular patches, in time I may change this early observation but without doubt the 6000 gets gold behind Z/X combos.
Like I said initially in a post, I am both a X Coil and Minelab enthusiast and to add to that I have no affiliation with either or with anyone but the GoG (Goddess of Gold) CC X coils for the 6000 may be the go in the future or perhaps ML have a software update for the Z to get it up to speed.

Re: the GPX 6000
Much appreciate your open honest unbiased opinion on the GPX 6000, as compared to the GPZ 7000 over gram/sub gram gold Norvic. Its information like this, that gives people a fairer clearer understanding on whether or not the 6000 is in ones best interest to invest in one or not. Much appreciate it Norvic.
Cheers Kon.

Re: the GPX 6000
Kon, Ok to add, as I sense you wish to be "armed" with the best, go the 6000 tis an amazing machine that gives results you`ll scratch your head about and ask yourself is it really possible to pick up such small scraps at such depth. It is and it does. ML have done it again, I look forward to Z2 or Z1s update just hoping ML will allow us to use our X coils.

Re: the GPX 6000
Once you have found 3 plus ounces, it has paid for it self but a lot will not get that target unfortunely. Let hope the fun they have had compensate for that.

Re: the GPX 6000
Agree geof. Gold is getting scarcer to find with each passing year, not alone entering this type of hobby today, as a complete newbie.
Although investing in the latest detector technology, designed specifically for locating gold, will greatly increase a newbies chances of locating some sort of colour, finding un-thrashed productive gold bearing ground will be the difficult part.
Cheers Kon.
