Re: GPZ7000 Price
Hi Detrackozi
Will you be making detector covers like you did for the CTX?
If you are I'll take x2.
Love the case I bought off you for the CTX.

Re: GPZ7000 Price
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall any long, drawn out discussions about the release price of any of the GPX's.
The interest was in what they could do rather than what they would cost.

I reckon you lot should form a "Conspiracy Theorists'" society.
I've never read so much hypothesis and speculation since Tony Abbott gave out Phil the Greek's Knighthood!!!
At least you've told Minelab what they should charge for the 7000. Well done.
Robert
While we are at it Robert, why don't we start a "Cynics" society?
Now for a President.............. hmm, let me think!

Re: GPZ7000 Price
I think I will have to get the wip out and give my 5000 a good flogging. So I can find enough gold to buy it.

High expectations
Far out lucky I hadn't put the deposit down yet, the gold price want to be good, or might take into next gen to pay it off.
Wonder if shop goes with that.

Re: GPZ7000 Price
Years ago I heard (yes , I know) that when to 2000 was developed they were sitting round the table and someone said ' so what will we charge for it?'
5000 someone said.
So that's what happened. They got us used to high prices from the start.
5000 was a lot nearly 20 years ago. Price of gold then about 400.
Actually, might of been4000. Still was a big step.

what is my detector worth
Regarding the price of the 7000, if it is as high as some are speculating I for one will not be giving away my 4500 or 5000, most people have only a certain amount of spare cash to spend on their hobby.so if the gap to the new detector is too high the 5000 etc will have to be their ist choice if they want a detector that will still find gold and is still a great machine, there may be some extra second hand detectors on the market when the new one is released but that will only last a short time until it all settles down yes I will buy the new one but will not be giving my existing detectors away for nothing... Coiltek price

I just viewed coilteks website and noticed at the top of the ad it says.
"Please note price not currently available.
Actual real price (once released) will be different from this current advertised price."
People should read the ad before making comment. It's probably a marketing ploy because now everyone on here is talking about the GPZ and Coiltek. If you avoid Coiltek then the line up to get a GPZ will be shorter at Coiltek. I know where I'm going to get mine. I'll let you know how much gold I'm finding whilst your still waiting inline elsewhere.

I never mentioned anything about assuming that your stupid. But anyway, a very sensitive topic I guess.

Actually GG the $1M is correct. Gladdis is only selling ONE GPZ7000. He is throwing in the Coiltek business as a bonus
