After Tunarama Beach Detecting

There was 3 of us detectorists on the beach this morning, My tally was 43 coins coming in at $23.36 & 1 foreigner, The others were getting coins as well, No other notable finds. Awaiting the low tides later this week & next to get out into the water & see whats out there. Anyone else been hitting the beach lately ?

dont wade too deep there mate, whites surely not too far away .

do you guys have the coil under the water or just do the beach? im thinkin of getting a coin machine for the beach, but being able to submerge
the coil and shaft looks easier, any idea what detector with good descriminator can do this?

G'day Goldmuss78, That's Why i am waiting for the low tides, Dont want to meet a white in his territory. Kiddin, Not really an issue ! I have a Minelab Excalibur for the water bit. Do use my Sovereign GT in the water no problems, Just cant get the control box wet or Kaput !
