How did you go in 2011 ?

My first year's detecting, 2011, produced these pieces for 25.5grams , all found in the Triangle :



This year's collection begins tomorrow afternoon !

nice collection mate well done. my finds for this year 40 grams but sold 20 grams of it , now just to find that once bit.

Great collection lkyphl, thats a top effort for a first year of detecting , most newbies take that long just to find there first bit of colour.

Great job LKYPHL.Its nice to see the gold just keeps on coming and in this day and age its still there for those keen enough to give it a shot.As with anything in life if you don't put the effort you don't get the rewards.

That`s a lovely spread of gold there It`s a great feeling when you are able to find gold on a more regular basis,as it proves you are doing more of the right things and you must be happy with that.Agree on the picture Phil,a beauty.

Well done...............What detector(s) were you using ?

7.9 grams but I only got to go out 10 times for the whole year.

All were found with a 5000, 96% found with an 8" mono, 3% with a 14" NFA, and the 11" Minelab mono found a bit,

3ozs, biggest piece 5grams, 5000 with 12inch n/finder

Ran a 4500 for 11/12ths of the year now have a 5000 which found the 216g specimen at a couple of inches...
