Banjo Gold Tray Clean Up.
This is how fast it is to clean up a gold tray from a banjo. The catch tray is used for sampling purposes only and will give a true indication as to the area you are working. Sorry about the video quality I forgot about the sun bugger hey. But the below photo is what was in the pan. The gold at this point was running at almost a ½ gram an hour at times a bit better. To work a Highbanker of any description you first must know how to pan and pan well, I usually double pan and run a bit of mercury through the second pan before I discard the contents.
Cheers.

Gold tray for sampling only My built in, not intentional water fall will be very upset!... Great Pan.
Nice video James. Still unsure of the panning technique, each to their own!
I really need to buy a good camera so I can stop talking and start showing, I'm on the mission!
Cheers Chris.

The Gold tray for sampling only yep that was the reasoning behind them from the start. But they also work well in any configuration, grin your water fall will be fine mate.
The panning technique is very fast and precise when you get it down pat, I was not running a second pan so I left a bit more than average in the pan. This technique lets you clean up on site and take only gold home. I will get around to do a video on panning.
I just use an ordinary digital camera they seem to do a good job and you can get a good one cheap. cheers

Re: Banjo Gold Tray Clean Up.
Just watched your vid again and you too keep the con's in the pan, which to my reckoning is the only way of keeping super fine gold in the pan! Unlike the vid on a different post where the old block was using the same method, but continued until only gold was left in the pan, a well salted pan to boot so how much he lost in fines was irrelevant!
My water fall, hmm you get that
