hi, new to prospecting. i have heard prospecting maps of the Blackwood area have been pulled from shelves. Has anyone tried detecting the Blackwood area or Wombat state forest ?

I was out there on the weekend.
Really heavy vegetation makes it difficult

If you could hook up a brush cutter to the detector it would make life a lot easier in blackwood country Q34

Hi Stubbsy,
Lot of deep mine shafts in Wombat.
Lerderderg is off limits
Goodmans creek is mentioned for panning, not sure if it’s now on the exempt list though.
Overall heavy undergrowth and mountain goat country.
But you’ll never never know if you never go.
