Faint Signals
I should probably relook at this vid prior to every trip, since more than likely am going over ground that others have walked over.

Its based on the 7k but to me applies to the SD/GP and GPX Series of Minelab detectors, don' know about the SDC since have not had much experience with this detector.

Great demo for the 7000 and a quiet signal not to walk away from.

Good video in way of distinguishing faint, positive in ground signals from ground noise yes, but  one thing I should mention here is that its all good knowing the area I'm detecting in or over, is free of all junk targets & most signals encountered would consist of only gold. This in turn would automatically raise the awareness of the prospector 10 fold, reducing their coil overlap/swing speed to a snails pace, (especially after having found other bits of gold near by) that otherwise would rarely happen over new ground when in search of your first bit of colour, hence making the identification of what might be a faint positive in ground signal, so much harder to acknowledge & so much easier to walk away from.
