11 inch detech spiral coil

My mate has been having some good finds using the 11 inch detech coils. Comparing it to other brands it runs much quieter and targets stand out. He nabbed a 3 grm piece at over a foot deep. it was a faint signal but was able to hear it easily due to the quieter running. We did comparison tests with a 12 n f coil and found it much noisier and not a sharp in target response. Well now have just bought one for myself ( with help from Santa) looking forward to getting out and using it of course after Christmas!!

Thanks Neddy for the your thoughts on the Detech 11".Seems like they get good reviews.If you have any additional info like the type of detectors used,timings,settings etc would be most welcome.
