Q: whats the cure for monday-itis?
A: Gold!!!!

had a great day out with lloyd (aka krunchi) yesterday at special spot that seems to have been overlooked by most. plenty of lead to be found and also 2 nice pieces of gold.
1 specimen in quartz with a weight of 15.3 grams with gold content of about 8.4 grams and another beautiful solid gold nugget of 2.3 grams. its a stunner!
both found with my gp3000 and an old school coiltek mini ufo.

working closeley with lloyd and his whites tdi i am very impressed with the machine. it kept up with the 3000 on all targets and im 100% sure if he had walked over those bits of gold he would have found them. the tdi with the correct settings is a very powerfull machine!
im sure we will be returning to this spot to search again and am sure the tdi will bring back some yellow on the next trip!

it was a great day wasnt it!
my camera is a cannon eos 1000 with a macro lense and ring flash. i use it for photgraphing insects, but it also does a reasonable job on gold too!

Magnificant photos of your gold finds corydale, very well done, of course the gold itself is magnificant as well, you must be very pleased with a result like that.

well done corydale looking at that I should have started detecting when I was in Qld , but alas I moved to Tas 14 years ago , but looks like we are on the gold now , research and heaps of it

its strange, everyone says gold is few and far between here in se qld but ive got gold on the last 3/4 trips.
