Tibooburra - Warratta Creek
Yes Mt Browne is closed but there is still lots of other great areas to spend your time while up that way and there is one place that come to mine is the Warratta Creek basin this is a huge valley so why not try your luck out that way next year.

Here is a youtube of the drive into the Warratta Creek up to the Phoenix Reef it give you a good idea what the track looks like as you drive along the creeks beds to get into the warratta valley. while you are watching the clip take note at the time of 8:27 fom that point you can see just how big the Warratta Valley is in front of you and just how much area you can work.

Hi detrackozi ... that's just a brilliant little clip!! I have GOT to get out there! And thanks for the link for the Google Earth pic ... very handy for when I finally get out that way.

I am sure you would enjoy a trip there just so much area to cover you have two large rangers on either side to work.

Wow! All of that is amazing!! Looks like I might have to plan on at least a couple of weeks (if not 4 ) just to get a good look at the area!
Might have to do some serious planning ... try and get up a small group etc etc Looks brilliant!!!

I can tell you it's all only good if you get the time on the ground in the locations to get a good understand of it all.
Just need to work the slope of any Reef line.
As you can see it a big area and time is need to work the slope's
Just hope it has give hope to those that think there is no place left to look
