Dells Hole
Hi Dave,
It is about 14k on dirt road to Dells Hole taking about a half hour. While you can get around Dells Hole in a 2wd you are very limited in places to detect.
4wd will get you to most places but Quads and side by sides will get you to out of the way places.
Groceries and fuel are available in Georgetown 40k north of Forsayth and limited groceries available at the Forsayth caravan park.
Steve.

Re: Savannah Gold Forsayth
With regard to Flat Creek Station - a mining company has put locked gates up across the access road into the property. There is some discussion about it on their Facebook page. The mining company has been asked to remove the gate.
I enquired recently if the gates had been removed as was informed 'not yet'. If there is any change to this it would be great to get an update.

I spoke with the Georgetown Police on Thursday, he told me it was in the hands of the courts atm. Will let you know how it pans out.

Re: Savannah Gold Forsayth
Hi All
In regards to Flat creek I spoke to the owner Peter last week, about this issue to get info for our Club, he advised me that the issue with the road blockage is still ongoing & that he could not see any change before April, he did advise that the property can still be accessed via the North Head road which is accessed west of Georgetown then south at the Cumberland Chimney, this route will take about 2 hours & is only for 4x4 traffic & camper trailer, there is no access for caravans via this route.
Peter acknowledged this will make a big difference to their Tourist traffic this year.
I hope this helps.

Re: Savannah Gold Forsayth
Thanks Steve & Lee for the update info. I have a caravan so it will count me out unless the gates are removed.

Ok thanks but I was wondering if you are going in from the Georgetown road or are you going through green hills?

Hi All
In regards to "Flat creek" there is no change to the access issue's with the lease holder, this is from the "Gold God" Steve he told me last night he had a guy do a lesson with him who drove 2.5 hrs to get there from flat creek, which would normally only take 30 mins or so, "Bloody Lease Holder" has ripped up the road too.
