E TRAC on iron stone areas
hi
Though been reading through these forums for a long time i have only just joined.
I have located a few creek beds in NSW that have been in a private property area and as far as the owners know have never been fossicked.
The creeks seem to be of iron stone including the bedrock with large flat areas that have all sorts of patterns formed within,Traces of quartz everywhere ,as the creeks seem to be containing some water and dampness at this point of time i would like to know if the E TRAC would be ok for these type of fossicking or does the iron stone make it too difficult.
thanks
Pauly

Re: E TRAC on iron stone areas
I have always looked on the E-Track as a glorified Explorer.
It is a great coin and relic machine.
Of the 60 or so reviews I have read about this machine only one was from someone using the detector in the gold fields who mentioned a couple of largish nuggets he found and others down to 2 grams but no mention of how well it handled the ironstone ground.
Speaking for myself it is not a detector I would rely on in heavy ironstone country.
I also am interested in what others have to say about this machine as a gold detector in heavy ground
