MY FIRST NUGGET @ LAST =)

First off I'd like to thank lbg dreamer for a great day out and his outstanding efforts to put me on to my first nugget, THANK YOU! & Layd for some good compony when you were out of bed!    It wasn't realy done with much grace as I almost lost the bugger due to some how flicking it out of the hole as a lump of clay back next to my foot in some dead grass then I dropped it in some more grass lol. I was so close to giving up on it thinking theres only so ,many time's I can be botherd looking for this bullet in this bloody grass OMG I'm so glad I didn't,    I'm over the moon.. Pete did well too, good work mate!!!
Sorry but I don't have a good set of scales so i'll need get back to ya's with a weight.
Anywho here she is.

Hoffs Gold, what a nice piece and very clean. Looking at the 1st. photo it looks like crystal gold and if so, worth a lot more than normal nuggets. Well done mate

That's awsome mate wish I was there yea I was .I'm glad I could help a couple of tweaks of your 5 and a little tecnique work and a bit of gold under your coil was all you needed and what an awsome find I'd say its close to 6 grams wow the excitement you had , I love watching other booked doing it tough find there first bit , and thanks for the great company we will have to get out soon

good on you mate it's a great feeling helping others to find there 1st bit. i was teaching a bloke and he found his 1st bit it was great... but i think i may have over done on the teaching, he went out and found 4 ounces just over 2 weeks biggest bit a 12 gramer.... hhhhmmmm no more teaching
