Detector repair
Greetings: I have an old White's goldmaster II from '98 or so. I know it's still considered a good detector although I've never been able to figure it out. Anyhoo, I fell into a creek and it went under and won't turn on. Any hope of fixing it? I'm semi-handy.

Re: Detector repair
open the case up and Dry it out thoroughly with a hair dryer inside, most times if not turned on while getting
a good dunking in water all it needs is drying out and fitting new battery's, the battery's can fully discharge when
they get wet..
Make sure the knob pots are dry as a bone inside too..
Hope it works again.
