PS: I think one of them LRL's of eBay would do a better job and be a hell of a lot lighter to wander around with.

Re: The ULTIMATE DETECTOR.
Ah sorry Brian, I should have realized it was a joke, please forgive the misunderstanding. It's just everytime someone posts over here you race straight over and repeat it on 'the other' forum and have a laugh at the posters expense. I thought this may have been the same or your handlers over there may have put you up to it.
Once again, please forgive me for thinking you were just trying win brownie points with the mad proffessor.
Cheers,
Steve

Must be another modern day prospector out there posting links on Doug's forum, because all I counted was 8 and only one I had a laugh about, and that was some comments on here aimed at Carbon Coils from posters who don't even own a large diameter coil 25 inch. Either way there only forums not the real world have a laugh, lifes good

Really? Even people who look in on these forums have a real life
and it's an incredible waste of time
to have to wade through "jokes" as you call them,
that serve no real purpose other than to antagonize and confuse.

Re: The ULTIMATE DETECTOR.
hi FLAK. yes, to a point mbe. there is too much doom and gloom today, a bit of humour serves as a release valve. perhaps it,s the aussie laconic humour. have you have seen another gold forum, they are '' out there'' truly, amusing tho.Flakmagnet wrote:"...Either way there only forums not the real world have a laugh..."

Re: The ULTIMATE DETECTOR.
Right it was a joke that some took offence to, no problems! but because there hasn't been any info or pictures on this UD, I thought it wouldn't do any harm just to put something up for a laugh. Putting all that aside and without looking for the answer on Doug's forum, can anybody guess what this black box is Because when I first saw it I had no idea until the poster told everybody.

Re: The ULTIMATE DETECTOR.
To end my part in the UD thread, the black box is a Reciever box for an old GPS guidance system for a tractor. We will have to wait and see if there is a real UD out there some place waiting to show itself
