she cant tell me where it was found !

because i am a gold nut my 94 year old aunty decided she wanted me to have this piece. i can remember seeing it when i was a little kid and she dosen`t know where it came from , she`s just "always had it". all her life up till when she got married she lived in Young , Bathurst and Oberon , so it probably came from somewhere around there.

Nice Specie mate
There is only one goldfield that i have seen and found species like that close to those areas. The Gold is the same bright colour and shines like no other.
But I cant tell you.......

Have you thought that maybe Hypnoses might get her to remember?
I guess if you had a good imagination you might even think it was a lost large gold reef.
I know an Old fellow who found gold in the soil he was digging out of an old well when he hit the bed rock.
He thought it was interesting but nothing more.
I would have loved to look at the spot but it is under a large dam now.

Mate just wait for the dementia to set in, my grandfather could not remember where he found a ton of saphires when he was younger and as he started to lose the plot he started mumbling stuff about where he used to go and sure enough it was all there. Strange how the brain works.
