Geology Reference Material Empty Geology Reference Material

As some of you may have read on other posts, I am in a wrestling match with finding gold at Dollys Creek. Now I understand the basic concept of how these ancient riverbeds were formed and then raised during the formation of the Great Dividing Range but I am after more detailed info on things like the formation of the capping conglomerate and how come there are still reefs poking thru here and there etc etc....

I have searched quite a bit for good books/info with not much luck so if you know of a good reference I wonder if you would mind mentioning here.
