Good haul mate, keep on chaining. I would keep going with the 14" elip till they get deeper or you decide to go walkabout. Hope to catch up with you again this year, last year was a real set back so I hope to make it up this year.

G'day guys,
Been a little while since my last post.
I am still working my patch. Started to chain the other way today. Found 10 pieces for 5.7 grams.
Also found this spur on the surface away from the patch. Hope it wasn't a 1 legged horseman?

Very nice redbullion. Might have to get into this "chaining" thingy myself one day, sounds lie a good idea.

Hi guys, I have read many times about "chaining" and does this refer to dragging a chain behind you as you detect. Most areas that I go to in the triangle doing such a thing would entail many snags and foul ups.
I try to detect to a pattern and cover as much of a given are as possible but with the fall of the land, trees, gullies and everything else in the way its easy to miss areas.
