16" Nugget Finder XP DD "Repair"?

Hi All ,
I have a 16" N/F XP coil ,the lite gray colour. I took the cover off to clean it and the Glass/Resin is all cracking and falling off. Was wondering if any one can recomend what to use to repair it .

It sounds like you have a Fiberglass and not a Plastic NF coil.

First of all contact the person who manufactured them, Rohan Johnson at NF for advice.

Also for a Fiberglass one, for repair information you can contact a professional person for advice who deals with Fiberglass for a living like a boat builder, surf board repairer, water tank makers, etc.

I am sure there are Fiberglass repair kits.

For a Plastic one do the same, also to find out what is the best glue to use.

Thank's for that, I rang Nugget Finder and they said to use POLYESTER Resin. I will hunt down a boat builder in the area.
