Renewable Energy has a lot of catching up to do if it is going to be able to supply  the energy being used today from Non renewable energy  supply

The climate here in Canberra feels the same as it was when we arrived here 40 years ago.....Six months of frosts and one month of heat and the remaining is sort of ok weather

Those increasing climate change stats seem about right for the current stage of normal climate change rates.
   The closer we get to the end of the current climate change cycle ( approx 5000 years to go ) the quicker the climate changers

This  is  not correct! The world is warming  about 10x faster then when it last emerged from an ice ice!! Nothing is normal about the rate of climate change  since the industrial revolution!

I guess our pollution levels have a long way to go before they match this: ....Although I can recall when the air over Melbourne in the 70s was a distinct yellow green, it was utterly putrid in the summer months

The bean  brained  climate change protesters stuffing up the traffic flow and the lives of people in our cities  no nothing of what has been done to clean the air in our cities before they were even born.
The pristine air over Australia today exists as the result of multi billion dollar works brought about through governmental changes  to the industrial sectors within the various state of Australia.
     
    What exactly do these protestors want done that will bring about a 1 percent reduction in our current  total 1percent contribution to the global total green house gas  pollution levels ?
They are quick to  maraud up and down the streets and to obstruct traffic flow to a dangerous level and to put every day folks lives at risk but offer no positive answers  to the problem that they think exists. IE Man Made Fossil Fuel Burning Causing climate Change.
