Slim pickings in wet ground.
G'day everyone.
After a long hiatus it was back to Maryborough and off to the Coiltek test site. Moredeep joined me for the day, as well as a few billion mosquitoes.
After our testing we went off for a detect. I managed to find a small piece weighing 0.57 gram. It had quite a bit of ironstone throughout.
At the end of the day I headed off while Moredeep decided to try another spot before heading home.
The ground is absolutely saturated and it made detecting quite difficult. Lots of spurious noises and false signals.
Hopefully it won’t take long for the mozzies to die off and the ground to dry out.
Regards Axtyr.

Agree with you there Axtyr. The saturated wet ground conditions give even the GPZ 7000 a run for its money, but lowering the gain to a tolerable level so as to compensate for excess ground noise, sure does help.
A small bit of colour found during a days outing, is always better than coming home with no colour at all.
Well done
