Off Topic. Which Countries contribute almost all of the Worlds Air Polution
Very easy to see.
Australia has very clean air even though we use coal powered elec generators and hydro.
Hmmmm now I wonder why that is the case aye?....Could it be because there are bugger all people living here and yet we are being forced to switch to Wind and solar and soon we will all be forced to buy electric cars only.
Imagine the chaos of having to park for several hours while your car batteries recharge. Servos will require very large parking/recharging areas

Compulsory electric cars won't be in our time Adrian or the next generation for that matter.
The hot spots in the centre of your photo have about 6 billion population and already over a billion rickshaws.
Not losing any sleep here.

One of the most interesting things that should be noted is the amount of pollution over India. The governments won't allow us to use the coal in Australia but are more than happy to send it off to India so they can use it. It makes me wonder how long it will be before countries like India decide to sue us because we allowed them to buy and use our coal and it then caused pollution in their country. It has happened with cigarettes where smokers can sue the tobacco companies because they knew how dangerous their product was. The countries could argue we know how dangerous coal is and should never have sold it to them. It's a crazy world.

Maybe not but it is already being discussed at top levels of Gov in the ACT.Nightjar wrote:Compulsory electric cars won't be in our time Adrian or the next generation for that matter.

With the financial loss that will result from zero petrol and oil sales to the general public the cost of recharging and electricity supply will skyrocket through the roof. Long distant driving loved by all Australians will be a thing of the past and the tourist industries will vanish.
Servo's will disappear and be replaced by bazillions of recharging points across the country.
Motor mechanics will be replaced by elecronics techo's
Might start buying shares in copper.

davsgold wrote:Adrian they have already got us prepped for no long distance travel, and it will just be a continuation, tin hats anyone.
cheers dave
Total electric cars are surrounded by intense LF magnetic fields well above human exposure safety levels.....So the tin/foil hats might not be a bad idea
Strong Low frequency magnetic fields can screw with the the brains alpha waves.

I might invent tin foil under pants to protect our species gonads as well
But then again some people get their brains and gonads mixed up
