Leonora Gold Trip

A week trip to Leonora and in first 4 hours - got this lot

Just under an ounce after the week - it slowed done - bugger

aussierat1 ,that's a great haul for the leonora district,it's a bit like Victoria [been flogged to death]

Nice finds. Thats how gold is, it can all come at once and give you a real buzz, then leaves you hanging in the wind waiting for next finds.

Will be one place (WA gold fields) I'll be heading to when I finally have the chance of retirement at end of 2021. 2022 will be over there for 4 months. What detector do you use there if you don't mind me asking?

I have a GPX5000 and the 17x13 Evolution spoked coil (good for sizable gold - .06 above)

My mate has a GPZ7000 - finds .02 -.03 more than me

19-inch Evolution round coil - search for bigger stuff deep
