In Sydney , starting at 8.30 p.m. there are some good shows on . I watched it last week , it started with Opal Hunters and then onto gold miners in Alaska . Got to bed after midnight .... Think I will have to power up the T.V. in the bedroom this week !

Or..........update to a "Smart TV" so you can record it.

So many of those shows would be great if they didn't think we all had short term memory loss and repeated half the previous section after each ad break. It's not done when showing movies so why on reality shows?

That annoys the heck out of me as they treat us as fools who are to dumb to notice that this practice cuts the actual episode by about 25 to 30%. It annoys me so much I don't watch any reality shows any more.

With you Jim, avoid reality shows, especially American like the plague.
Watch about 5 hours of commercial TV/week and that is getting less due to the doom & gloom presented at news time.
We now pay $9.00/month and have endless programs without adds and we chose what time we watch them!...

I agree guys about the first few second of repeating the same program. Thats why wifie and I got Netflex for $9.95 per month of endless movies and no adverts
