Thought I would share this nice little quartz specimen with you all.
At the age of 5 I found this in a paddock near BCV8 [TV STATION] in lilly st bendigo .
Amazingly more than 50 years on I still posses it, as a kid it appeared 10 times bigger [PADDOCKS ARE WELL AND TRULY GONE NOW]
It got me hooked on gems but mainly the yellow stuff  now days.

It would have been great to discover prospecting when I was younger, I got hooked on fishing instead and now have trouble deciding which one to do on a free weekend.
