Just like to say gidday,I'm from Mudgee Nsw and just starting out,I'm in the process (researching) detectors,and think the sdc2300 will be a good choice for me,can't wait to get it and go exploring,
I live on the land,I ride trail bikes so hopefully I can do both prospecting and riding out in the bush together,that's why I'm going for the SDC detector,hoping it can fold up smaller Anough and put in my backpack

G'day Marlin, welcome to the forum.
Wise choice choosing the SDC2300 there Marlin. It's compact, highly transportable, waterproof to 3m & a killer over most size/type gold, over the shallower ground conditions.
