xterra 705

as i am only new to this have been to gt once or twice so far what are people thoughts on xterra 705 finding gold and what are your recommendations on its settings

I cannot tell you how to set up the 705 for gold but with a bit of luck somebody may give you some clues.
The operator manual should give you a fair idea .

On second thoughts I just had a look at the operator manual for the 705 and I must admit that it does not give you much of a clue re gold prospecting mode.

have sort of worked out settings just looking for advice on which are the best settings and is it good detector for finding gold and yes is gold pak
