Log off issue

Hey Kon, I have an issue with logging off.
I have tried to log off a few times today, but every time I do so
it keeps showing that I am still online.
I am a bit of a computer newbie, so not sure if I am doing
something wrong.

All seems to be functioning good from my side Fred. Not sure where the delay might be coming from. I have encountered the odd rare occasion where the delay of logging off has taken a while to occur, after pressing "Log Out", so I logged back in & out again, which then worked fine. Try logging on & re-logging off again & let me know how it goes. Your current status at the moment, stands as "Logged Off"

Yes, it's all good now Kon, I am not sure what was going on before.
I was starting to get a bit paranoid, thought this site might be spying and tracking me
like google and facebook do all the time.
Oh, and thanks for the welcome.
I am one of the 'old school' been detecting/prospecting since the late 1970s.
Hopefully, I will have something positive to contribute to this site.

That's good to hear Freddy & rest assured, that this site, is not set up for spying or tracking the private email texts or pm conversations of any member. Unless brought forward to managements attention by another, management has no jurisdiction/access to whats been said through anyone's emails or personal messages. That information, remains strictly confidential between members/parties concerned.
