W.A.Settings
Hi Guy's & Gals
I'm planning to head over to WA this year for the first time detecting. I'm just wondering if there is any settings for over there compared to Vic that can be used on a 5000. Or can I just use my Vic settings. I'm looking at the Laverton area, and my main coils will be an 8" Commander and a 12" Nugget Finder Evolution.

If you have your spots already picked out, ok.
But if of any help, I can point out a few places in the Burtville area E/SE of Laverton.
A bit far for many of the Laverton day trippers, best camping in the bush. Telstra phone out there courtesy of Granny Smith mine to the SW
You will need Tengraph sheets (Leonora dmp), 40e permits and the Laverton topo Natmap SH51-02
PM me if I can be of assistance.
Mike

Re: W.A.Settings
Here's my secret settings......there ain't any.
Fine gold
Audio...quiet
Audio tone to suit
everything else factory presets
Your 12" evo will get a good workout.....leave the 8" as a plan c backup
Any dramas or questions give me a yell

Thanks Guys for your help. This will make life a bit easier over there. I hate to go over there and flounder around like a fish out of water.
I'm meeting up with a tour group at the beginning for 10 days, and I'll see what happens from then on.
