Does anyone know how to tighten up a 14" z coil, as mine flops around when detecting in low bush, or when it hits a stick, etc.

Those 2 big black lugs either side of the coil need tightening. Turn clockwise one click at a time so you don't overtighten it. It takes a little bit of effort to turn them but they do turn.

Regards Axtyr.

Thanks Axtyr. A so called expert, when canning the Z when it first came out, reckoned it was a design oversight as the coil couldn't be tightened, so I took it as gospel. Thanks a lot for the help. xmas tree.
