Thanks for your comments.
Yes the 19" coil ay, seems to work OK, the 7000 has had the latest software update installed. So the settings are basically High Yield and Difficult ground smoothing off and using the semi auto tracking and sensitivity as much as you can for the ground and the day.
Yes it is bloody heavy and NO I didn't check for the 30% better. This piece of ground has been gone over by me and others with the 7000 and the 14" coil before and also the 4500's and 5000's with the elite 14" coiltecks etc. So I tend to think just on this info the 19" on the 7000 out performed by some sort of margin.
cheers dave
Thanks for settings info Dave..It`s early days for me and the 7000,but yeah High Yield / Difficult works great and like you say other settings to suit ground / and operator...HY / General and HY / Difficult are very close on targets i`ve tested so far...but as always it pays to go back over the same productive ground with other settings...Sooner or later that 19 inch coil will pull a chunky nugget from the depths

Re: xxxxxxxxxxxx
Crikey Dave, those are some pretty beaten up nuggets. Great work on finding them with the 19" coil

Re: xxxxxxxxxxxx
Great nuggets Dave and Veronica. They remind me of burrendong nuggets. They are flat and one has a rolled over edge. I believe this is indicative of nuggets hammered in a big river in the past. (possibly no big river evidence being visible in the spot now) Could that be the case in the area your working?

Re: xxxxxxxxxxxx
Good on you Dave,
I'm new to the 7000 so seeing someone pull something like that out of the ground is great. I'm used to getting horse nails at about 12 inches. I'm only borrowing but will purchase one in the near future.
Cheers
Doug
