New Minelab Detector In September

Supposed to be a new Minelab Released in September 2017. Not sure it will be for prospecting,  I would go for a new and improved GPX6000 with discrimination that works.

Looks like it won't reach the public til some time in January.

Wishful thinking & something we all dream about, but far from it. Even if they did happen to achieve it & got it to function right, It would be at the cost of sacrificing something somewhere along the detectors functioning capabilities.  Minelab couldn't get the discrimination on the GPX 5000 right at 4 inches, not alone getting it right at full depth of target. Keep in mind, they got rid of the discrimination on the GPZ 7000 altogether. Quite obviously, not an easy assignment to achieve on a PI unit.

Come on Kon, Bruce is doing the best that he can. He has been known to say "If it wasn't for those bloody Victorians and their fancy highly mineralised dirt I would have solved this problem years ago, and found a  cure for the common cold as well, but no, the Victorians have to have a quiet running machine (bloody sooky la las).. What do they expect for $11000?
