Quite humorous there Slimpickins.I have been back and did some careful detecting around it but nothing to speak of yet.Have cleaned up the species will add later.Still thinking about how to proceed on this one.

Ok have updated the picture of the specimens cleaned.Any suggestions on how to proceed on trying to find more of the specimen run?

Hi deutran, are there any obvious slate bars/ reefs either side of your hole, would any gold including what you found, be trapped between these two slate reefs? Can you detect between these two slate reefs up the hill?

There is no obvious slate its all quartz reef.I have found random nuggets trapped in the bouldery quartz or under the quartz gravels or red clays.
