Newbie.........

Hi All,

Newcomer here, my wife brought me an x-Terra 705 Dual coil pack for my B/day. have had it a month now. Spent this time hitting the local parks and what not. Had a couple of reasonable finds, including a 9ct gold wedding band. About to make a trip down to Warwick and try my hand at a little gold detecting. Any advice would be welcome. Loving getting up and going out of a weekend morning to have a bit of a detect, usually come back with something, found an old pocket knife yesterday...

Still on the learning curve, understanding the nuances of my detector, but having a lot of fun. Have managed to come across a few folks of like mind and enjoyed my chats.

Fingers crossed I will be posting on here soon about my first gold find
