NUGGET FINDER 19 EVOLUTION COIL

Be good if they could knock something up for the 7000.

dave they did so the rumour mill said BUT minelab would not share the chip to link up with the control box. so no coils other than minelab could not be used.

Yep it's a real bugger that, they should make the chip like and SD card or a SIM card so you can take it out of the original coil and slip it into the aftermarket coil. maybe Nugget finder could make and adapter to do just that.

Looking forward to the release of this bigger Evolution coil,going by the improvements over their other Nugget Finder Advantage coils,with the new Evolution range  (12 inch round / 14x9 inch elliptical / 17x13 elliptical / and 15 inch round / The 19 inch round will most likely outperform the older style 20 inch round We will find out in time.

It is still good news for those of us using the budget line of detectors

Anymore news on 19" evolution coils ?
Any idea if solid or open spoked style?

No I am not holding back,I still have not received a test coil. Rohan has been updating the factory, as soon as I start using a coil I will post what I think regards john

Gosh..seems awful big for most places....unless your lucky enough to hunt the flat lands. I am finally ready to buy my first Evo coil. I did test out the 12" Evo a friend let me use for a week. i found it a great coil, a step up from the older coils. Managed to score 4 more nuggets from worked out patch with the 12" Evo. Although I did like the 12" Evo I am still convinced the 11" Commander Mono would have got 95 percent of the tid bits. Soo, its between the 15 " Evo and the 17x13 Evo for me. I am looking for a bit extra depth...anyone have a preference between the 15" and the 17x13 Evo?

My go to coil is the 15 EVO spoked its sensitive great depth can swing all day regards john

Thanks for the reply....I was leaning towards that one...but in solid because down here in California we get a lot of grass and branches , bushes we hunt around. The spoked, although lighter may get caught up on those damned twigs...lol. I have always liked the rounds...seems the return signal is better...

Yes I under stand what you are talking about,if you have a look at a spoked all the inner edges are at a angle not square this makes a big difference to the problem of getting twigs and branches caught, now and then I do get some caught any way have a look they are both good coils regards john

I have run Advantage coils for years and used the 17x13 solid Evo all this last winter. It's a fantastic bit of gear. Couldn't believe how sensitive it is. Tiny buried birdshot pull you up in full stride when patch hunting. I have run the 14x9 Adv and 17x11 Adv for some years and they are nowhere near as good.
Can't help you with the 15 Evo, don't have one. I'm an eliptical fan.

I ordered the 17x13 Elliptical Evo....should be here any day now. I was considering the 15" but realistically the 17x13 was the best choice for my area. We are in some rugged country in the Sierra Nevada of California the round may get an edge on depth...but overall the 17 E was my choice. I am glad to hear your happy with it, no small change for these coils...but plenty of gold still left..it'll pay for itself in no time. I am not expecting miracles, but needed just that extra punch for the bits down deeper and reach for that lunker at depth. Thanks for all the replies ...

good choice mate i have not played with the 17x13 but i have no doubt that it will superise ya!!! cant wait for some pics of that US gold

Well i read the 19inch nugget finder coil may be out in two weeks..
Also.... i read it goes no deeper then the 15 evo  is this true???

hi jen, lets hope that is not true wonder why they whould make a bigger coil with no more depth?????? does anyone no if they are spoked or solid????

cheers for the info mate, looks good and price is standard cant wait to have a lap!!!! that will make the coil kit for the 5000 complete with the 12 evo 15 soon the 19 and the advantage 25 happy days may need a better pick

So you get to test the coil a week before its release, apart from being impressed, can you say how your testing was done?
