Nugget Finder New Evolution 15" Round Coil

Hi Everyone, Has anyone been using the Nugget Finder New Evolution 15" Round Coil and how does it compare to the 12" round or the 17"x13" evolution coil, is it better or not as good in different situations?

I would love to know too as i just ordered 1 and it would be good if someone could give some feedback on the coil..  cheers

The 15" has better depth then the 12" but not as much coverage as the 17x13"  haha, all of the "new technology" coils are great, you have made your pick now go get it.

Far to many different parameters to answer your question accuratley. They are closeley matched in my opinion. Forget about what coil you got. Learn your area inside out  and chase those little pockets that havent been hit yet, then grasshopper, anything will hit 50oz at 100mm.

Anyone else like to comment on the new 15" Round Evolution Nugget Finder Coil ?

i havent played with the 15' but the 12' is a freak so lets hope the 15' is aswell i pulled 16gms on the weekend of 3 old patches with the 12' that the 14' round had missed and yesterday a 11gm and 2.4gm solid that had been missed with the 15x12 comander at 30cm each

hi all have had a chance to run the 15 and it also is wicked on all size nuggets as i managed a sub gram specie at 4 inches (not to deep i no) but my mate ran the coil over a old patch witch has been done with the 15x12 and 14' coilteck and had 3,5oz jump out at him with average depth 10 to 15 inches ranging from 7 to 20gm nuggets, the deepest being a 21gm nugget at 550mm and a quiet but soild signal right down to a 0.1gm at 3 inches and strong signal the week before saw me nail a 2.4gm and 11gm boath at a foot down using the 12 inch round with the little one just making a sound and the other quiet but soild also, all of these missed by the 15x12 comander!!! so needless to say they will be getting a hard run over some old ground has anyone else found these coils opening up old ground, cheers joe,

Hi Joe, Thanks for your feed back on this new 15"evolution coil, now you have confirmed to me that I have bought the right coil for my GPX4500 as I have not used it yet and won't until the cooler weather comes and I'm able to travel.

no worries mate!!! most deffenitly a wicked coil i think it will superise ypu as it blew me out of the water may be hitting that patch of deep gold again this weekend if so i will let you no how we go with it cheers joe

Ive just bought a NF 12", Ive been told to crank the rx gain right up maximum, is that what you're doing as well.

hey mate, i have only run 15 with the 12' and reckon it could easly run a little higher (given the soil type) stab at 11 also? i have run the 15' at a rx of 17 and stab at 12-13 depending on the day? but as the day heats up i back boath coils back according cheers joe,

Went out for the first time here in WA with my new NF 15" Evo...pulled a 29 gram spec from a creek... !!!!
Wondering if there are any recommendations for settings on the 4500 for these new coils...that is, do they run better on certain settings for the conditions here in WA?

HI Nelstone good find ,I have been using a 15 evo for a few month here in VIC on a 4500 ,I am running the coil very quiet the gain and stab at 9 ,audio norm, signal 18, vol limit 18 ,target vol12 - 13 ,inverted try it see how it goes as WA is a bit better ground than Vic as far as mineralization .Yesterday dug a 16 inch hole only to find a 10 gram musket ball was very happy with the coils performance good luck regards john
