I fully recommend for everyone, new and experienced, to watch this as it shows how much of a subtle signal you should be looking out for. I have to admit, I have probably walked away from what started out as being such an iffy signal and at the speed I walk around, I would certainly have missed it, so this has been a learning lesson for me, to slow down and concentrate a whole lot more. Excellent vid from start to finish, and a big to JP.

Totally agree, I played the vid a couple of times turned the volume up and still would have missed it  

Now that was a cracking vid. Great get JP. In this early stages of use of the Zed I'm not sure that would have pulled many people up. It will still have to be mastered with all it's little personalities and nuances. ZED owners need to see this!

That is what makes some some detectorist more successful then others.

Have to listen few times but yes you could hear something there.

So best thing to do ? Scrape little if you not sure.


I am sure that all of us have passed over many nuggets especially when newbies.


This video is beneficial not just for Zed owners but to all of us who enjoy this hobby regardless of detector you have.

Thank you so much JP - most educational - just the sort of stuff us stressed Zed owners need atm. After watching this I do believe I have left a few good targets in the ground assuming them to be either the 2200 like threshold warble, or interference from my detecting partner's 45, no more without thorough investigation!
