Very nice there Jen, hopefully there might be one or 2 more out in that spot to add to your collection (notice how I didn't say Mike's spot )

Don't know if anybody else noticed, but these nuggets of Mike's and Jen's, are the very first pieces of GPZed 7000 gold displayed in this forum's "Members Finds". Congratulations. You are now in the history books. May there be many more! Cheers, Harry

It's our spot, it's everyone's spot, if you are lucky enough to know of some spots, and you swing the detector coil over it, whatever you dig up is yours..
So really this one is Mikes as he did the hard yakka.. Poor bugger, I was glad there was that nice nuggie at the bottom of the hole.

P.s .. I don't want everyone thinking this machine is the bees knees just yet
just because we lucked onto what we did.
It's still early days.
So I still think that if you know of someone that has one, see if you can, beg, borrow, oh! not steal it.
As that way you will either like it or hate it.. Or sit back on the fence.

You could have called me. I would have come down and given Mike a hand digging the hole.
My dig rates are almost as reasonable as Golden`s

Re: Our first finds with the Gpz7000
Niiiiccce. Very well done.
I have been looking at the ads for the 7000 and it looks like it has a fixed coil like the 2300, is that correct.
Congrats again.
Axtyr.

Re: Our first finds with the Gpz7000
Johnny for putting the vid up for us.
It was my fault for the sound.. I left my camera in the water proof case, so the sound was muffled
I am still learning.

Hi Les
Glad you enjoyed the video.
Every time you mention it's snowing where you are I get the chills through me
Which is a good thing, as it's pretty darn warm over here

Axtyr.
Thankyou
Kind of correct.
There is talk about making 2 other coils.. Think the bottom stem comes as part of them.
When they will be available, is anyone's guess.
So for now, it's just the coil that comes with it.

Re: Our first finds with the Gpz7000
Whilst digging that lumper out, I wonder if Mike was thinking to himself something like........
Bring man pick
Must be smoko time
She bloody found it, she can bloody dig it.
only got half a slab back at the car
Won't be enough
God, I'm about to die
Must remember to cancel gym membership.
Where the bloody hell is it?
Do you dial 000 or is it 911? Can't think straight. Where am I?
But what he actually said was...." What's that dear? Do I need a rest? Nuh, I'm fine, couldn't be better. Thanks for letting me dig out your target"
Piece of cake.

Re: Our first finds with the Gpz7000
That's pretty close to how he said it. But I did make him rest and drink his water..slimpickens wrote:Whilst digging that lumper out, I wonder if Mike was thinking to himself something like........
Bugger! This is hard ground
Bugger! I need a rest
Bugger! It's still deeper
Hope it's going to be gold, and not a lump of rust or a horse shoe
Still in the ground
My hearts racing
Got to sit down for a sec
I must be getting closer, the 2300 is screaming on it now
What a bloody beauty!! It's a good ounce or more.. I need a drink & a smoke
