Hoping to get to Australia this June.
HI everybody; I just found out that my brother is heading down under to race in your big triathlon this June, so it looks like I am going to put a few purchases on hold and see if I can come up with the $$$ to go with him and was wondering if a person can hire a Minelab and get out on a day or 2 beeping trip?

Depending on where in Aus your going to be determines how how far from the gold area you will be obviously, most of the bigger detector shops have hire machines, Google Minelab sales in the area your going to be. or if $ allow maybe a few days with a tour, if in Victoria there are several, Golden Triangle Tours is one that comes to mind.
Cheers and good luck

Les was coming to the land down under.
Hey Les, what happened did ya make it to the land down under.
Where the women glow, the beer flows and the men chunder.
What happened to the thread it just stopped and ya left us all hanging there. What is the answer?
Are you still around, please give us a sign or let us know what is happening over there.
How is ya new coil going or hows the weather anything at all will do, but please don't leave us hanging here like this not knowing what happened.
Now before ya ask -- "Chunder" is Aussie slang -- it means when blokes get pissed. Blokes is Aussie slang for guys and pissed means to be pissed = drunk = intoxicated and then the beer turns into "Chunder"
Now I'm not to sure if this is true or not but sounds good.
The slang word "Chunder" came from when the first fleet of convicts were being shipped to Australia form England. and the prisoners were sea sick. and would yell out from the top deck to warn their fellow prisoners below to "watch under" while vomiting above. (hence the slang word "Chunder" was borne) it sounds pretty Aussie to me.
Nearly forgot --- Sorry to hear that your truck hand a breakdown we call em 4WD's over here.
Hope to hear from you soon ------ DooDar
