Xterra coil on SD2000
Hey Guys, I'm about to head off for a three day trip. I have an Xterra 705 Gold Pack as well as an SD2000. I only have the standard coils. Would there be any benefit to using the Xerra coil on the SD?
Below are not my pictures but they show you the coils I'm talking about.

Re: Xterra coil on SD2000
Sorry but it wont fit and it wont work.
X-tera has 6 pins (and a chip in the coil)
SD2000 5 pins.
One is a PI (pulse induction ) and the other VLF (very low frequency ) detector.
Different Technology - not compatiable.

Another thing Lamo, you are saying you've got an SD2000 but you're showing a picture of an SD2200d.....??
Edit, I just read the part where you say they're not your pictures...my mistake, apologies.

All Good. It will be interesting to see how these two detectors run over the same soil.

Re: Xterra coil on SD2000
Lamo,if your intended search area is low in mineralization, both VLF and PI will run quite smoothly, but the moment you go over sections of highly mineralized ground, you'll find the SD 2000 to maintain stability/smoothness,whilst the X/terra will be screaming "help, murder on the gold field".
