Next Year 2014 Gold Bash

Hi All,

Well I hope all those who attended enjoyed this years BASH, I feel it was the most successful of them all. Well run, plenty of time to detect and full of information for all levels oHi Pete,


Events like this just don't happen and without quality people behind the sceens it is really hard to deliver such an event,  so we are calling for members to rise to the occasion and put their hands up to be involved next year.

All positions are available so please give it some serious thought and help out.

Next year I plan on taking a break from the organising and just enjoy the event, but will be there to help in any way I can so please give it some thought and let us know.

Hi Peter,
Do we know roughly dates/weekend when the Bash will happen?
Just to plan to have that particular weekend free.

I am going to put my hands up for help.I am sick of management jobs during the week (according to some: just drinking the coffees and doing nothing) so helping hand or whatever is required would be preferred.Sure the BBQ duties if needed.

Just have to see what is the most paid position

As I said in my closing remarks I will be taking a break next year so it will be up to those who are going to put their hands up to choose the date.

I can say if you want it in October, you are going to be stuck with that weekend as there are a number of other prospecting events either side of that weekend and you don't want to clash with them.

I don't mind putting my hand up again for next year but I will not be doing it on my own. I will need a hand in the sponsorship side and advertising side. I will not be doing the admin so someone else can do that. Peter and I did it for this year, so we know how to work it for next year. Peter has stated that he wants a break and I don't blame him. I know he will give directions in regards to the admin side so that will make it easier for the people that take that side on. And I can help in my side to who ever comes on board there. As they say more hands makes light work. But if I end up doing my side again by myself, my wife is going to crack the sh!ts. So please remember why we are doing the Bash, so you guys can enjoy a great weekend catching up with friends, meeting new ones, possibly learning something new and also helping out with a charity. This Bash takes a lot of work and it starts about 6 months before hand getting everything together and planning. If we can form a committee that is a great start. So Guys and Gals how about putting your hands up and keep this great event going. Next years dates will have to be 10th. 11th. & 12th. Oct otherwise it will clash with everything else that is happening in that month.
