Laanecoorie 2014 Numbers

Gday Every one To  Mariner3800 and Wombat can we use this line as an Indication of how many people wish to attend this year. If those interested can put there name and numbers here in a dedicated ONE area for easy reference thank you.Also do we indicate here if we support catering and for how many meals.breakfast lunch or dinner ?

Tom it is fine with me to use this thread to indicate if members are coming and also about catering, specially catering as we need numbers for the caters to work out their supply needs. I for one will be their for the whole weekend and I will need catered meals for the whole time. The caters will be doing the Friday night meal but to do the cooking only as up to date. Caters will then supply and cook breakfast and lunch for both Saturday and Sunday meals. But not for the Saturday night meal, that will be done by the Caravan Park Staff.

Hi Fellas, I have 3 coming including myself. Will be there for the full time. Will be bringing my van, so will use only some of the catering.Cheers peterau

Don't forget everyone if you are staying for the Saturday night meal you will have to let the Park know so they can cater for the numbers.

I should be there, not sure I may have one or two children and therefore not sure about the Saturday night feed. If I have to cook meals for them, may as well cook extra for me. Yet to call the park, but tentatively booked a site the last time I was there.

Yes it can be a bit confusing. Would be good advertising if the bash dates can be added to the title of the sticky thread on the main page. That way it will be there reminding everyone to plan for it.

Thanks for that. What a shame as I will be in the area on the long weekend and in Adelaide by the next weekend. Oh well maybe next year.

For the first time, I won't be able to make it over for "the bash" BUT I have a few things that I'd like to try and get over for the auction ....

Free gifts for the Auction to help with fundraising for the nominated charity OR for the club

1) Brand new, never used smallish trash pump (1" I believe) ... purchased, had oil put in it but never had petrol in it, never been started etc ... brand spanking new!!
1) Small clean up sluice ... runs on 12v pump (one of those little "fish tank" thingies
1) Pyramid Pro Pan ... used twice & sparingly at that!
Anything else that I can find that I'm not currently using, or not using in the near future.

Anyone headed over from SA to Laanecoorie ... please give me a yell via PM & I will supply mobile number etc to have a yabber about it.

WAAAHHH. Am not going to the gold bash now. My missus had surgery for a incisional hernia a couple of months ago and was to be all ok now. Her body kept rejecting the mesh they put in and they had to re operate and have taken out the mesh. Have cancelled my van site with the managers. Bugger was really looking forward to it.
Do the auction items get displayed on the forum before the auction and can members not able to attend the bash, place a bid with management before the event. just woderin. cheers peterau

Peterau this year for the first time we are going to put up a list of Auction items and their auction numbers. We can do a phone bid if you like or place your top dollar price on an item prier to bidding that only managerment and the auctioneer will know. Then it will be left up to the highest bidder on the day for each item.

Dave everything starts and finishes at the Caravan park Laanecoorie. What sort of accomodation are you looking for as I know that everything at the park is booked except for non-power sites. The next place close to Laanecoorie would be Dunolly, 15 min.away. Motel and caravan park there.
