Could be good, could be a scam, you just never know. I'm more so dubious when a see a magazine picture in the add instead of an actual picture of the machine, but maybe I'm being over cautious...

Personally I wouldn't touch it. No actual photo's + a zero feedback seller usually = trouble

Hmmm. OK I am not up to speed with the magazine pics.
I will ask the seller why he is not using a pic of the actual item in the listing. Yeah now it is sounding sus.

and there's also this, in his reply to the question on the listing:

"It is us made original."

as in made in the USA?

I used the magezine picture because I took a couple photos on my iphone and had bad light and too little time to do a good job. The unit is in good condition, it has no unsightly scratches or wear and tear, you would think it had been out for a weekend, which is not far from the truth. I bought it and used it on several hikes into the desert half a mile from highways in Arizona to test it out. I doubt I put 30 hours run time on it. It is amazing, the rising and falling tones are easy to get used to and iron is easy to detect versus non-ferrous. I would have had a hard time getting how effective it is without using it.
