Hi all,
Am very new to this hobby. Purchased a Garrett Infinium 2 weeks ago and have been out twice to Bendigo. No gold only junk. I did manage to find a cheap girls ring in the local park which my daughter loved. I'm in Caroline Springs and am looking for a detector buddy who wouldn't mind getting out for a swing somewhere close, if there is any place close.

   When you mean somewhere close,I hope your not referring to Melton Laughing Just kidding m8. Both the Calder FWY and Western HWY lead you to & pass through potential gold bearing districts & ground.It all depends on how far your prepared to go,towards the chasing of the elusive "golden ointment".
