I have to many coils at hand (including 8" x 6" Sadie) and I use a 12" x 7" on my 4500 most of the time. I have found a some small bits, in the first few outings. Would there be any performance benefits for me, to up it to 14" x 7". What would be the advantage.
thanks

Yep.Greater depth on the multi/gram size nuggets and up. The 14x7 is capable of finding a 0.1gm color, close to that of the depths of the 12x7,with the added advantage of greater ground coverage. Also, due to the 7 inch elliptical shape nose,it will reach deeper in amongst/between tussock grass,or when searching for gold in between deep rocky crevices that allow the 14x7 to sneak in and do so.

Cheers. Kon. What a Face
