You Kiwi's on the gold, yr golds $2000/oz, any info on the $1,000,000 nug

Got a newspaper clipping from NZ a few years ago about a million dollar nugget found in the Shotover river, didn't say how it was won, any info and any other nuggets coming out of there?
Plenty of dredging on the West Coast I would think, mate of mine was over there recently saw a couple working a 12 inch dredge in one of the rivers.
You blokes are bloody lucky NZ never became a State of OZ because the governments here would of banned your dredges, mechanical digging, ammonium nitrate, guns and slapped stamp duty on your houses and land.
Shame the people here don't stand up to the government and say NO like they did many years ago at Eureka Ballarat. Hope the miners at Lightning Ridge stand up and reject the red tape the bureaucrats are going to throw at them.
