sd2100 internal parts paint

i have now aquired an sd2100 .
my question is that inside it
has been painted black not white , i have
heard that the ones with black are
not as sensative as the ones painted in
white is this true ? thank you

Zacc, Many different theorys on which color board is better, some say the black board models work better with monos, i have owned 2100s with both colored boards and have found on real difference. Both work better with a 7.3v power supply and an enhancer, if you buy a 7.3v system make sure it is a proper regulated one ie, the Coiltek Li-ion or the Reeds not one of the el-cheapo ones on ebay. mallee00 and the mutt

thanks for that . i have purchased a kit from jaycar similar to davsgolds post about reducing the voltage from 12 volt down . the kit is KC5446 adjustable 1.3v-22v regulated power supply.
